Leonotis
Leonotis is a genus of flowering plants in the mint family (Lamiaceae), native mainly to Africa and southern Asia.
The best-known species is Leonotis leonurus, commonly called lion’s tail or wild dagga. It’s an upright, shrubby perennial known for its striking whorls of bright orange tubular flowers that bloom in tiers along tall stems, often attracting hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.
