Ctenanthe amargis is a slow growing plant with pale grey-green, oval leaves and dark green curving stripes. Its leaves close upwards at night like other prayer plants.

Secret of success:
☀️: Prefer bright filtered light, can tolerate some degree of shade. Insufficient light may cause loss of variegation in the leaves while too much light will cause the leaves to fade.
🌱: Well-drained soil.
🚿: Water the plant when the soil is almost dry out.

💦: High humidity levels are an advantage.
👩🏻🌾: Fertilize lightly during the growing season.
