Mokara orchids are hybrid plants, produced by crossing three genera called Vanda, Ascocentrum and Arachnis. It does best when grown in daytime temperatures that stay above 18℃ and can tolerate up to 35℃. Mokara orchid blooms in many colours that include purple, pink, red, orange and yellow, with up to 10 flowers opening on a single stem.

Secret of success:
☀️: Strong natural light can keep the plant’s leaves a bright green and promote regular flowering.
🌱: The most popular orchid potting mix is fir bark.
🚿: It has an extensive root system and needs frequent watering especially when grown outdoors in bright light.
💦: Enjoy high humidity, on fan to ventilate the air in order to discourage fungal growth.
👩🏻🌾: Feed the mokara weekly with balanced fertilizer.
