Begonia gryphon is an upright, mounding, evergreen perennial noted for its eye-catching foliage and durability. It has large, thick, glossy green, palmate leaves, adorned with a silver overlay. Both their undersides and slender stems are deep orange-red adding pleasing contrast.
Secret of success:
- Prefer shade to partial sun.
- Requires well-drained soil.
- Let the soil dry between watering. Do not allow to get too dry.
- Fertilise lightly during the growing season.
- Provide good air circulation.
