Begonia royal velour is one of the rhizomatous hybrids and cultivars with attractive leaf colourations. It has dark red-green to blue-green color leaves with an attractive metallic sheen on the upper surface and rich red colouring on the undersides. Foliage is covered in short hairs.
Secret of Success :
- Prefers bright indirect sunlight. Not able to tolerate long exposure of direct sunlight.
- Requires well-drained soil.
- Water the plant when the soil is dry.
- Fertilise lightly during the growing season.
