Buxus sinica is commonly known as Chinese boxwood and popular in landscaping and gardening for its small, glossy, dark green leaves and ability to be pruned into various shapes. It typically reaches a height of 2 to 4 feet (60 to 120cm), but it can be pruned to maintain a desired size and shape. Small capsules containing seeds might develop after the inconspicuous greenish-yellow flower appear.

Secret of success:
☀️: Bright indirect sunlight or at least six to eight of hours of full sunlight daily is ideal for the plant’s growth.
🌱: Well-drained potting mix.
🚿: Water the plant when soil is slightly dry in between.
: Responds well to regular pruning.
👩🏻🌾: Fertilize lightly during the growing season.
