🪨 Why Choose Lithops?

 • Stone-like appearance that surprises and delights

 • Produces daisy-like flowers in autumn

 • Requires very minimal care and thrives on neglect

🪨 Lithops (Living Stones) Care Tips

☀️ Light

Needs bright, indirect light to full sun

Ideally 4–5 hours of direct sun daily (morning light is best)

Indoors: place near a south or east-facing window

💧 Watering (very specific!)

Spring & Autumn: Water lightly and infrequently — only when the body looks slightly wrinkled

Summer Dormancy (Hot weather): DO NOT WATER

Winter: DO NOT WATER while new leaves are forming — wait until the old leaves shrivel away

Overwatering is the main cause of death

🌱 Soil

Use a gritty, well-draining cactus mix

Add extra perlite, pumice, or coarse sand — aim for fast drainage

🪴 Potting

Small, shallow pot with excellent drainage

Avoid humidity-retaining pots like plastic

🌡️ Temperature

Loves warmth: 20–30°C

Keep above 10°C; protect from frost and high humidity

🍽️ Feeding

No fertilizer needed, but a very diluted cactus fertilizer can be applied once during the growing season

Quick Tips

Lithops follow a strict annual cycle — respect their dormancy

Never water during the leaf-splitting stage (late winter/early spring)

Avoid frequent repotting — they like to be left alone

Let Lithops add a touch of desert mystery and living stillness to your plant collection—a quiet conversation piece rooted in nature’s design.

Pair it with these essentials
