Strelitzia alba, also known as the White Bird of Paradise, is a striking ornamental plant native to South Africa. Unlike the colorful orange and blue Strelitzia reginae, this species produces large, white flowers with a bird-like shape, creating a dramatic tropical display. Its massive banana-like leaves and tall growth habit make it a stunning statement plant both indoors (in spacious, bright areas) and outdoors in tropical gardens.

Strelitzia alba is inbranched, multi-stemmed and can grow up to 10m tall. The older stems are woody with leaf scars and often have suckers at the base.
